She Wears Her Heart On Her Sleeve

"She wears her heart on her sleeve", that's what everyone says

She doesn't hold back anything, she shows everyone she cares

She has a hard time keeping everything to herself

Because she'd rather display every feeling like the books on her shelf

But it makes her feel better to express herself in this way

So she really doesn't care what anyone has to say

"Just let me express myself and let it all out

Who cares if I have so much to say and just want to shout?

Because you weren't there when they put me through the hurt

The pain that I felt when my heart was being burned"

She just wants to be heard and for someone to care

The thought of no one hearing her is what she really fears

So sometimes she goes away and cries to herself

Deciding not to display her feelings like the books on her shelf
